Cerebral palsy refers to a group of chronic conditions affecting muscles and body movements.  It is caused by brain damage during fetal development and pregnancy, and it can also occur during or shortly after birth.  Children with cerebral palsy show various symptoms and signs that are variable in their severity, based on the extent of the brain damage.

What is Hyperactivity?

Hyperactivity is the state of excess activity and might be manifested by fidgeting, jumping, nervousness, or inability to sit still.  Hyperactivity is a common symptom of ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
