School Can Be Easier Than You Think

For those of us that have children that struggle, school is often a time of stress. Will this school year be just like last year or will this year be the year that reading, spelling, writing, and math actually get easier?

This year can be the one that really changes the trajectory for your child. This school year can be the year that your child actually turns the corner.

We know from the science of neuro-plasticity that we can change the brain. We can make learning easier. Doing specific activities that incorporate the 27 areas of learning can make a difference for our learning challenged kids even if they have dyslexia, ADHD, learning disabilities, or autism.

We learn through seeing (the vision system), hearing (the auditory system), and doing (the tactile/kinesthetic system). When learning is difficult it is because one or more of the areas of the vision, auditory, or kinesthetic systems aren’t working as well as they could, should, and can. When you do specific activities that strengthen those systems, learning becomes easier.

View the following videos to see how your child can learn with greater ease. The videos are just a small sampling of what you will learn in our Awaken the Scholar Within Programs. Each program uses hands-on materials specifically designed for struggling learners.

Our programs are easily integrated into your school life whether you are in public school, private school, or you are homeschooling. Daily work is about 20 minutes a day. You don’t need to spend hours daily to improve skills; the short, consistent lessons really make the difference in improving reading, writing, spelling, math, and study skills.
