Diabetes on the Rise in Teenagers

According to a study by the CDC published in Pediatrics journal, diabetes is significantly on the rise for teenagers.  Nearly one quarter of American children and adolescents has type 2 diabetes or is developing the disease.

I Was Diagnosed with Diabetes as a Teen

I expected the doctor to just write me a prescription, and send me on my way, but instead I was on my way to the hospital. I was only 15-years old and knew nothing about what was going on.
